MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM

EnoB, in collaboration with Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York (KCS), launched its Senior Music Education Program in April 2023, with the goal of instilling the love of music into the lives of seniors who are underprivileged and isolated. A professional singer provides them with weekly singing lessons and then guides them singing together which gives them a sense of community and pride in belonging to a group.

They get to explore a wide range of genres, from Korean art songs to pop songs, appreciating the lyrics and following the instructor’s guidance in singing. They also get to learn musical symbols and how to convey the unique characteristics of each song. As they sing together, they experience the joy and emotional healing that music offers.

YOUTH EMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Collaborated with Julliard Pre-College Team

The EnoB Youth Ambassador Program, a collaborative effort with the Juilliard Pre-College Team, aims to promote EnoB’s mission of spreading joy through music to those facing physical or socio-economic challenges. Participating students organize and perform outreach concerts to reach diverse communities, furthering EnoB’s goal of making music accessible and appreciated by all. Participating students play a pivotal role in uplifting isolated individuals by providing them with unforgettable musical experiences. Youth Ambassador program offers young musicians the chance to serve with their musical talents as passionate advocates for EnoB’s values and mission.

ENOB JUNIOR CAMP

EnoB organizes Junior camps for EnoB Juniors to offer unique opportunities to engage in service-oriented activities across diverse themes. EnoB Juniors explore ways to serve the community through music and art, engaging in activities that contemplate the value of sharing and creating hands-on projects that embody this value. They also get to attend exhibitions and performances to cultivate cultural sensitivity and develop their capabilities as global citizens. The EnoB Junior camp enables participants to embody and promote EnoB's core message of spreading happiness to the world.
